We have the following vacancy for an;

 

EXE! HOUSEKEEPER

 

Core responsibilities include?

 

‘* Establishes the staftdards of cleanliness of areas under his/her control.

Instigates working rules and practices to meet these standards.

Establish training programmers, methods and procedures for development of employees in Housekeeping and

 

Laundcy.

‘+ Plans, directs, contfols and coordinates activities ofall laundry operations and personnel to ensure the efficient

 

and economical process of the laundry operation.

‘* Balances staff working schedules to meet peak and slack periods,

‘* Makes periodic inspections of all areas to check on Housekeeping, public areas, garden and laundry standards

and takes necessary action to correct shortcomings.

‘* Meet regularly with other departments to ensure smooth flow of supplies and repair work.

Prepares annual linen budget based on the calculations on quantity in inventory and linen losses.

Prepares annual Housekeeping, Laundry (FF&E) and Operating Equipment budget in consultation with the

Management.

‘© Controls all operating costs within the set standards.

Make recommendations to the Management for modernization of equipment, methods or supplies.

Ensure guest/staff laundry and linen are completed as per hotel standards and delivered on time.

 

‘The ideal candidate should possess

'* Atleast 4 years’ experience as an Executive Housekeeper / Asst. Executive Housekeeper in a star class hotel

‘© Experience in laundry operations

‘© Experience with Hotel / Hotel apartment / facilities management in the UAE is preferred.

 

Specific skills required:

‘© Good analytical, reporting and process skills.

 

Excellent written and verbal communication in English,

 

Strong organization skills.

 

Eye for detail

 

Attributes of a result oriented leader.
