X-Venture is a technology start-up led by an experienced IT professional team in Sri Lanka, Singapore and the

United Kingdom. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales and Marketing Intern to join our team. This

internship will provide you with exposure to the intersection of sales and marketing in the IT industry, allowing you

to develop essential skills for a successful career in this field.

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Sales and Marketing - Intern

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

® Assist the sales team in lead generation and prospecting activities, including identifying potential customers,

cold calling and qualifying leads.

 

® Identify the needs of customers, resolve issues, and provide solutions.

 

© Support the sales team in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and contracts.

 

© Participate in sales meetings and client calls, gaining exposure to the sales process and customer relationship

management.

 

© Assist in organizing and coordinating marketing events, including webinars, trade shows, and conferences.

© Support the creation and management of marketing databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

© Assist in designing and implementing customer surveys to gather feedback and insights.

 

© Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging marketing strategies, suggesting

innovative ideas to enhance our marketing efforts.

 

® Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product

development, to align marketing activities with business objectives.

 

® Assist the overall functions of digital marketing aimed at promoting our IT

services and solutions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

® Currently pursuing a Higher National Diploma or a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or

a related field.

 

® Strong interest in the IT industry and familiarity with IT services and solutions.

 

® Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

 

® Proficient in using various social media platforms and digital marketing tools.

 

© Basic knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and techniques.

 

© Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.

 

® Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 

® Experience with graphic design and content creation tools is a plus.

 

© Previous experience in sales, customer service or digital marketing would be

added advantage.

 

© Self-motivated and eager to learn with a proactive attitude.

© Possess strong multi-tasking skills with a keen attention to detail.

 

© Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
