Position: Finance and Admin Manager
Department: Admin & Finance
Reports to: Country Director and VP Admin & Finance
Direct Reporters / Supervision: N/A

We are currently seeking a professional Finance and Admin Coordinator to join our team
and assist Sri Lanka office from the initial establishment and working with the Country
Director and Vice President Finance & Admin to build up the accounting system locally
and ensuring effective delivery of all admin & finance tasks running in the Sri Lanka
office.
The position is a full-time engagement.
CORE RESPONSIILITIES
The position includes, but is not limited to, the following specific tasks:
1. Responsible for bookkeeping on a monthly basis; Ensure accuracy of information
and calculations for accounts preparation process
2. Tax computation and filing according to local tax regulation
3. Cashier work include payments arrangement, checking expenses submitted by
employees etc.
4, Prepare financial report on a monthly basis
5. Produce other financial analysis per line manager's request
6. Be able to make suggestions/advice/alert to line manager from accounting
professional angle.
7. Issuing invoices according to sales contract/proposals
8. Co-work with HR for payroll matter
9. Assist with annual audit mission
10. Providing effective support in terms of fully compliance with Sri Lankan
Laws/other local legislation in regard to Human resources, Taxes, etc
11. Support the daily administrative tasks where is needed.
12. Maintain supplier database and ensure suppliers are selected through a
competitive, transparent process
13. Maintain asset register
14, Support the Centre staff with procurements and logistical arrangements.
15. Liaise with tax consultant, audit company, Company Secretary and bank to follow
up on Centre related work and ensure smooth functioning and timely submissions.
16. Other supportive duties for The Centre (Sri Lanka and Global) as assigned by
Country Director and Vice President Finance and Admin
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education: Minimum University degree or above in business administration,
accounting or a relevant field.
A minimum 5 years proven experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of labour legislation and payroll processes
Good understanding of the full recruitment process.
Good understanding of procurement and logistics processes
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Solid problem-solving and team management abilities.
Excellent English language skills equal to mother tongue
Highly trustworthy and capable of handling highly sensitive and confidential
SPN auawn
information.
10. Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
11. Good computer skills, Microsoft office etc.
