Applications are invited for dynamic, result-oriented, ambitious individuals to fill the below internship in our plant Ansell Textiles Lanka (Pvt) Ltd at Seeduwa. Senior Executive — Purcha: Accountable for the purchasing and sourcing function. Requires the issuance of PO’s to suppliers and to follow up on getting the goods on time to the plant. This job also requires the individual to be a part of Supply Chain operation team as and when it is required. The Role The Specific job Responsibilities and Accountabilities are as follows. Complete raised Purchase Requisitions on the allocated time
Issue PO's and complete purchasing cycle ‘ Publish monthly purchasing summary reports to management and advice on areas on improvement Maintain purchases within the allocated budget and highlight areas of acceding the budget at the time of raising purchase orders ‘ Source items locally and reduce dependency on imports ‘ Verify Physical stock availability with Warehouse against system on monthly basis ‘* Will be responsible to lead the indirect procurement team and function
* Responsible to implement & sustain requirements of PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 in the Supply chain functions which support to manufacturing processes of chemical protective clothing & continually improve the processes of Supply chain function as per the requirement of PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 The right candidate should possess the following qualifications & Experience. ‘ Degree in Supply Chain or related Management Field 5
* years of Purchasing / Sourcing experience ‘ Must have a thorough knowledge in Raw material/Packing material procurement and fair knowledge in ERP system
* Good communicator with sound problem solving and statistical skills ‘ Positive attitude and enthusiasm Fluent in English written and verbal Other Essential Attributes required;
Good leadership and interpersonal skills ‘ Strong problem-solving skills ‘ Responsible and proactive ‘ Customer service minded
‘* Numerate and analytical ‘ Organized and process oriented ‘ Self-driven and result oriented
Networker and motivator, team player ‘ Excellent communication and presentation skills
