Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and a member of the dynamic Union Bank Group.
As the Company gears up to meet its next phase of growth, it opens its doors to self-motivated
young professionals to join the UB Finance Team.
Responsible for the overall functions of the Finance department
* Ensure timely Reporting of management and regulatory financial statements in accordance
with the relevant accounting principles , standards and CBSL guidelines.
* Take a pivotal role in preparation of Budgets , Forecasts & Business Plans
* Ensure a robust Finance Operations function in accordance with approved procedure guidelines
* Ensure compliance with all Tax payments and filing of tax returns, meeting statutory deadlines and
make recommendations on tax planning and administration
* Sound Treasury Management while interpretating cashflows and ensuring availability of sources of
funds to meet the liquidity requirements and business development
* Manage relationship with Auditors, CBSL, Inland Revenue and Other Stakeholders on finance related matters
* Develop and measure the KPIs of the Company to support stated strategic direction
* Provide leadership in developing the Core Banking System to enhance automation
* Below 45 years of age
* Professional membership in ICASL/ACCA/CIMA or other equivalent qualification
* 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity preferably in the Financial Services Sector
* Exposure to Digital Financial Management & ERP systems
* Strong Leadership & Interpersonal skills and ability to motivate & manage a team of
Finance professionals
